I have about 20 Steve Wonder albums and love the music on them all very very much. I can continue listening to them with out a problem but always in the back of my mind is that thought " i have not seen Stevie Live" . Come to Australia (Melbourne) again Stevie and make my love for your music complete because without hearing you live in concert it wont be.

Stevie Wonder is the man! I think many people are too "Alternative" or too plain macho to admit his music is magical. Listen to those 70's albums. Listen! Don't just say, "That's too sugarsweet."
Innervisions is fantasic. Songs in The Key of Life amazes me after listening to it a million times because of the amount of great material on one album.
To name a few...Knocks Me of My Feet...Superstition...Blame It On The Sun...Golden Lady...
His finest works easily ranks with the best. Easily. I'm not a blind fan that buys underpar later work. But this stuff is plain wonderful.
Buy his 70's albums.

LeahJan 28, 2002 (00h48)
Stevie, I LOVE YOU!!! Your voice is "the sunshine of my life" I dig you stevie. I really Dig. :) I grew up listening to you, and I still do. Your one of my biggest influences musically. I love ya!!!!

Hi To Motown Management.
Why is it taking so long to release a new Stevie Wonder project, i know he's done a couple of songs on the Spike lee new film and the odd soundtrack song for eg. 'If Ever' .
I think its so sad that we avid fans can't even get hold of a live video , I also heard that ,'Natural Wonder' was released officaily in Japan , (the video I mean) with a few extra songs that were not on the CD., I think us fans are been hard done by.
& now its been 7 years since your last album ,'Conversation Peace' and motown promised in album in september and since then there has been no news and not even any info on how the new project is going, so we're all left in the dark.
Look i know sept.11 may have something to do with the delay, but if anything the album may be of great comfort to America and help bring hope, Please Stevie can you at least let us know whats happening, there are a very few singers who have your magnitude of immense talent let the world hear and enjoy your God given talant.

To whom ever that reads this,

I would first like to say that I am greatful for whom ever put this site together because I am an avid Steveie(-land M.J.H) Wonder "FAN".
Pardon me, but I must say that I am a bit selfish because I don't feel that anyone else is as worthy of calling themselves his fan as I feel that I am due to this "connection" or "bond" that I feel I have had with him through his music since I was 5 years old (I will be 31 next month). You know that song by Chakha Khan (if that's how you spell it) where she say's "I felt as if he knew me", I've always felt that He knew me through his word, through his melodies; happy, sad, glad, humourous, you name it. One would say infactuated, well, I wouldn't say that. You know a female asked me not long ago, If my attraction was physical, you know, if I like him like a "boyfriend", although he is a fine man the answer is no! It's more like a best friend. One day my mom was upset with me for reasons I can't recall but I do remember the low blow she gave me when she said "You think Stevie Wonder is God don't you?!" Look, I don't worship him however I did feel at one with him at one time (that may constitute as Idolizing him) so I did a self assessment and even consulted my pastor on the matter and felt that my ultimate sacrifice would be to get rid of my Stevie Wonder collection so I threw it in the dumpster behind the church. Well, lets just say la

Hello. Does anyone have the lyrics to "Sunshine in their eyes"? It's not included on this site, and in the sleeve notes of "Where I'm coming from", only half of it (or something like that) is included. At least in my edition of the notes... :) Please email me if you've got it!

Stevie Wonder has touched the lives of many. Like other other artists like the Jackson 5 he has such a major impact in the world. Actually, they are coming out with a rerelease of their greatest hits. It's a cd set that is a must have. Talented artists like Stevie Wonder and the Jackson 5 should be in everyone's music collection. If you're interested in infor about these artists, I got mine from www.motown.com.

Hello! I just wnat to thank Stevie Wonder, for his music. How can you do that? So many good songs? I got the album "Innervisions" for Christmas, and it is so good! Every littel bit, in every littel song is super!! I have some collection to from Stevie, when he was a littel bit younger, and its very good to. I'm about to clean my room now, and I gonna listen to....yes of course STEVIE WONDER!!!(I'm 14 now, and I'm sure gonna like it all my life!)

tracIIJan 19, 2002 (14h18)
I've been listening to your music since I was a teen in high school since the mid seventies. You were the topic of a music report I had to do and I've been in love with you and your music ever since. I tell everyone "there is nothing "Stevie" I don't like." I love writing and poetry and hold you in the highest regard as a poet, songwriter, etc. I just had to tell you I truly adore you.

Julien WinandyJan 18, 2002 (19h59)
Mr. Wonder,
in your song Happy Birthday, written for Martin Luther King, Jr. you say "Why has there never been a holiday where peace is celebrated all throughout the world". I think that with your help "we can make that dream become a reality". And I would encourage you as a person with influence, to work for a holiday of that kind. I have set this as a goal for myself, but I know it won't be possible without the endorsement of some kind of person that has influence and connections to political leaders. So I thought you would be the best person for that. I don't have a problem asking you to help me, because I know you're a person like everybody else, and I'm sure this is a dream of yours, too. It would be great to hear from you by email. And I encourage everybody who reads this and has the same dream, to email me, so we can all work together!
Julien Winandy from Belgium

Does any know where I can get "Keep our love alive?" It was released by Stevie in the early 90's as a single. I've checked CD Now, Virgin, lottie, dottie, and some of every body, no ones even heard of the song. If anyone can help, holla at a brother.

NiyaJan 16, 2002 (19h42)
I just wanted you to know that you are a great inspiration to me! I have been a fan of yours since I could crawl. And I also wanted you to know that I am planning on becoming a music artist because of how your music makes me feel. Everytime I hear overjoyed I just want to break down and cry. I remember somewhere in the late eighties maybe early nineties you couldn't make it to a funeral and so you sent your limo. I cant quite remember the name or date. And maybe if you think long enough you will know who I am talking about.

Hey Steve I Haven't spoken with you since 1988 . I hope all is well with your family and I often wonder about your mother Lulu . She was very nice to me when I met her years ago in (1979) at her house after the Pasadena Shrine Gig of Secret Life Of Plants . I know you remember me Steve , I played some drums in at rehersals 1979 when dennis Davis was out of town with David Bowie . I made somewhat of an Impression on you as a funky soulful "White Drummer " I have just finished my 7th self produced CD and thanks to you showing me the ropes and Midi I make 99 percent of my records all by myself playing all the Instruments . I live In Burbank Now and I have a small recording studio in my garage .
It Seems like Brian Mc Knight has pretty much mastered your style - I stayed Pop -Rock
more like Older Steely Dan but I'm expanding as an artist and incorporating alot of new styles lately . Thank you for being such an inspiration to me , many years ago . I hope someday we can get together and play again - So Old Friend - Be Well !! Kibbey (Walt)

Belated Happy New to Stevie and all of his adoring fans. The duet with Tony Bennett on his duets album is simple blues, but with some superb harmonica. In response to Jon on an earlier request...that song is "That girl",which was a U.S.A.hit in the eighties(On the album Original Musiquarium 10).We all hope Stevie will be issuing some new material soon.By the number of emails on this site alone he would easily sell many copies.I know of many Stevie,s songs that lay in the vaults. He has written many lost classics.Maybe a rarities album could be issued? To all Stevies fans i would like to start a UK website.Anyone who is interested please contact me at Ruth@holding82.freeserve.co.uk.P.S.Stevie...if your "reading " this ,remember that song you once sang ..."My World is empty without you!"....Well thats how we feel right now.We need your music!!!!!!!!

Stevie, :), I just say your name and can't help but to smile. I love what your music does for me. It makes me dream, smile, laugh, think, hope, and entrances me in your magic. I love thank you. :) God has truly blessed us with a genius!! :)

What can I say, Stevie you are simply the best!! I've listen and enjoyed your music for many years. I won't go anywhere unless one of your CD's in my car.. It's like medicine to me..
You are such a talented man. No one in my eyes comes close. And that beautiful voice of yours. You don't need any music. Your voice is music enough on it's own.! Ive never had the honor to see you live, this is just something I have to do before I leave this world. I'm praying that you will do a live show somewhere close enough for me to get to. And soon! Love to you always, God bless!

Dear Mr. Wonder,
When you came out with the song I just called to say I love you we bought a 45 and on the flip side had instrimental. My sister copied the words in short hand and than wrote them out. My mom, sister, daughter and my self sang the words to your music and put it on tape. As the years gone by she alway pulls the cassett out and plays it for everyone. Many years have gone by and she is very ill. My sister bought her a keyboard that has songs and the keys light up for you. The first song she found was yours.. Today we were coming back on the bus from the doctor and she was very ill and slouched over all of a sudden she started singing I just called to say I love you. Me and my daughter joined in. So Mr. Wonder my mom's life on this earth is short and your song will be ours forever and I thank you for it.

Does anybody know if Stevie will ever be doing a concert or Gig anywhere in the world in the near future?

Michael HermansenJan 3, 2002 (16h05)
When I was moving from home to get my own, I found out that I have forgotten something. Something was missing. All my life, I remember, my mom playet stevies music. I did'nt realise how much it ment to me before I got my own apartment. I had to by my favorites. Stevies music is still the music I hear the most. I always return to he's LP's and CD's. "Songs in the key of life" Was special because it was listening to this LP that i realised that I was a big stevie-fan. I belive the first stevie song I remember, was a single from the late 1960's "For once in my life" (I'm born in 1966) When I hear that I still wanna dance. In my point of view Stevie Wonder is the greatest artist. He will always meen a lot to me. If I ever Have children, they too shall dance to "for once in my life".

Michael H. Denmark... Copenhagen.
